It’s great to see you! My name is Louise and I’ve been helping people feel confident on the roads for 8 years now. As a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor that’s my job, but its much more than that. It’s about getting to know you and helping you understand how you can stay safe on the roads whilst making sure you have the confidence in your driving so it can take you wherever you want to go!

We really believe that Driving Lessons should be as individual as you are.

Whether you are taking the huge leap to independence and learning to drive for the first time or haven’t driven for a while and need a little confidence boost, we will work together to help you feel happy and safe on the road.

What We Do

Driving Lessons

Making the decision to learn to drive is exciting for some people and quite scary for others. Maybe you have been counting down the days to getting on the road. Maybe you have put it off and feel like now is the right time for you. Whatever your reasons and whatever stage of your life you are at, we can’t wait to help you.

Here at Busy Bees you will enjoy a relaxed, friendly learning environment and get the skills you need to make safe decisions and drive independently. We will work together to build up your driving skills so you feel confident in any situation and also enjoy being on the road.

Refresher Lessons

If you’ve had a break from driving you might be feeling concerned about getting back on the road. Refresher lessons are a great way to build your confidence in a safe environment where you have someone to help and encourage you, while you find your way again. You will be surprised how quickly it comes back to you, and we will work together on the things that worry you so you feel ready for anything!

Confidence Building Lessons

Lots of people lose confidence in Driving so don't worry you’re not alone! It might be that you have been involved in an accident or not driven for a while. Whatever the reason we can work together to boost your confidence and help you find that independence again. Remember you’ve already done the hard work before so we just need to find ‘your way’ to feel safe on the road, its really important to remember that we are all different.

Theory Test

If you are learning to drive for the first time you will need to pass the Theory Test. This is designed to start building your knowledge around the rules of the road and makes you think about what you might see when you are out on the road, for example, road signs and road markings amongst much more information.

The Hazard Perception part gets you thinking about what's going on around you and how it could affect you. These are all things that we will practice in your lessons so the practical skills you learn in the car will go hand in hand with your knowledge.

Driving Test

Throughout your lessons, we will work together to help you become a safe and confident driver, ready to tackle any junction, any roundabout, any situation.

You will also learn about the risks that face new drivers through our partnership with The Honest Truth. This invaluable training will be incorporated into your lessons to help you think about and understand how you can keep yourself and everyone who travels with you safe.

It takes time to learn a new skill and Driving is no different. It's also important to remember that everyone learns in a different way and at a different pace. When you can drive independently and can deal with every situation we come across, safely and confidently, we know you have the skills you need to stay safe on the road and that’s when you are ready for your Driving Test.
